The Scented Paw is a small family business which makes vegan, cruelty free products. All candles from The Scented Paw are hand poured and made with 100% soy wax.
Unlike some other candle companies who use a petroleum based wax blend, candles from The Scented Paw are made with 100% soy wax, which is environmentally friendly and has a great scent throw.
Soy wax candles are a natural and renewable product, they emit far less soot than other paraffin candles and release no toxins into the air. They are the more environmentally friendly choice, that is healthier for people, our pets and our home. Soy wax also burns slower so are the more cost-effective option in the long term.
All candles from The Scented Paw are cruelty free and all fragrance oils used are sourced from suppliers whose fragrances are completely vegan/cruelty free, non-toxic and do not contain palm oil.
The Scented Paw also donates 10% of all their sales to animal charities the protect vulnerable and abused animals.
Some tips on caring for your soy wax candle:
- Allow the candle to burn all the way across the top layer of wax (this is to avoid tunneling).
- The minimum burn time would be around an hour (to allow the candle to burn all the way across).
- Do not burn candle for longer than four hours at a time.
- Please trim your wick before every burn to avoid what is called mushrooming or excess wick.
- Stop burning when 10mm of wax is left in the jar.
Even though they smell good enough to eat... please do not eat the wax....
